We build identity software in Stockholm.
A small company in Vasastan with a long habit of working on other people's identity systems, and a clear idea of what we wanted to exist instead.
Why we built it
We spent years as IT-security contractors, building and maintaining identity and access management for large international corporations. The same two problems turned up everywhere.
User data fragments. Every application invents its own idea of what a user is, and the number of applications only ever goes up. Reconciling them afterwards is expensive, and the cost lands on teams that wanted to ship something else.
Signed agreements end up somewhere else. The usual signing services hand you a completion certificate and keep the evidence on their own servers. Years later, when the agreement actually matters, its proof depends on a vendor still being in business and still being willing to answer.
Both problems have had open standards for years — SCIM 2.0 for the first, PAdES and the Sweden Connect signing profiles for the second. They are simply not used as often as they deserve. So we built one product that uses them properly and hands you the result to keep.
What we care about
Open standards over our own inventions. Interoperability, no lock-in, and a product you can replace. If Universal ID stops being the right answer for you, the documents and the user data you hold are still valid without it.
Yours either way. Let us host it, or run it on-premises, in your own cloud account, or a hybrid. The choice is about who operates the thing, and it is yours to revisit.
Simple enough to operate. A container and a database. Configuration in YAML that a person can read, an admin interface that does not need training, and one audit trail covering both services.
Say hello
Questions, a demo, or a suggestion for something that is missing — feedback is always welcome and it reaches the people who write the code.
